ThePennywise launched in 2008, and focused on “living great, depsite the layoff” to help families survive the recession, a job loss, or bringing a parent home with the kids full-time. ¬†We re-launched in October 2012 with a new theme of living frugally, getting out of debt, and service as a family to the community.

We use Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest to communicate with readers.

All advertisements and messages are approved on a case-by-case basis.
