I’m sorry to say, I’ve been sitting on this promotion for a while–it got lost in my email inbox, when I got sick back in December, and today I found a “to-do list” that I’d lost track of while sick, and voila…. today, I bring you Big Fish!
If you haven’t heard of them before, Big Fish releases a new family-friendly game every day. Games are affordable (under $10) and you can play games for an hour for free anytime. I was given a few coupon codes for free games for readers to give it a try themselves.
We used to use Big Fish regularly, but don’t game much anymore, that said, we always enjoyed their games, and they are GREAT for doctor’s waiting rooms, etc.
I downloaded “Build-A-Lot” a real estate investment simulation game that I enjoyed (I’m a real estate broker by day) and the kids–ages 8 and 15 both enjoyed it as well.
The games are easy to download and install, and simple to use. Walk-through are available on the web site for more challenging games, and the site is very, easy to use and navigate. Games are categorized by platform and type (puzzle, hidden object, RPG, etc)
I’d recommend Big Fish to anyone who enjoys PC and mobile gaming.
To download the free game, you’ll have to enter your coupon code (get this by commenting here & including your email in the form–not the comments–so I can reply with a single-use code). You’ll have to include a credit card number on the Big Fish site to download, but it won’t be charged for this game download–once the code is applied it will zero the balance.
However, you will need to log in to big-fish the cancel the automatic game subscription if you don’t want more game credits later. This was my only complaint about the Big Fish system, –like many websites there’s an automatic up-sell of a subscription. If you are a regular game buyer–the prices on this plan are great, so you may want to leave it in place. It is easy to cancel the automatic system before the first charge, but just be aware for it.
I only have a few free game codes to share, so if I miss you, know that you can still use the promo code BLOOM today for a discount on games, and new customers get 70% off their first PC game download.
This is a promotional post, written at the request of the sponsor, who has provided a game trial for review. The opinions expressed here are my own, and the contents of this post was not approved or guided by BigFish.
