In my area, (Seattle metro area) our county offers a catalog called the IMEX—or Industrial Materials Exchange. This catalog shows all kinds of items that might otherwise be landfilled. Extra paint, tile bits, buckets and containers, etc. I’ve used the IMEX to find items before—but you can also use it to offer items, much like freecycle on a large scale. With IMEX however, there are often nominal fees for the items.

This post is part of a series I’ve entitled “Frugal August” and is inspired by (though not copied from) the book The Complete Tightwad Gazetteby Amy Dacyczyn. My tips are meant to build on hers, but generally are not duplications.

Hey Guys! Hope everyone is having a nice and cozy Fall evening. Just wanted to give you a heads up on a great website that has TONS of Free Coupons! This guy used to be a Financial Advisor for one of the Nations top Financial Institutions, and got “fed up” with them. He's now a High School Teacher and helps people who are in the common “more month than paycheck” situation like the rest of us, to be very frugal and save money with coupons and special offers!! He's really awesome! http://www.slickbudget.com You've got to check out his web site. I had to tell you about it because it is a perfect fit, and the more people that know about it – the more people that can save their hard earned money using the coupons and special offers. Oh and by the way Jess, if you are interested in making additional $ with your extra time, email me and I'll let you in on some Free Marketing tricks that will get you a check every couple of weeks. Not a scam – just some things that you can do to bring some extra dough, and you'll make WAY more with these tips than you will doing surveys or reviews – (as you found out – a lot of those are marketing scams…. once you start them – your inbox becomes a spamfest). In all of this, don't forget to get your coupons and special discount codes at this guys “www.slickbudget.com” site. Hope this helps everyone out! Good Night and Abundant Blessings!! Ter. :-)
