I’m shocked that you ditched the Adsense. Actually I’m ready to do that too but I have a $30 balance. The minute I reach a payout level it is in the can!

Thanks Sandy for your comment. I hated the “get rich quick” and “modify your mortgage” genere of ads. These are scammy advertisers, and I don’t want anything to do with it. I’d hate to have any readers here think I endorsed that sort of thing. I’d rather go with less blogging income than endorse that stuff. Part of the mission statement here is to be doing more for the community, and Adsense just wasn’t fitting the bill. Glad to hear you’re kicking it to the curb too. I’m happy to continue to carry ads for high-quality companies (I personally love Lending Club, Pertuity Direct, ING and Smarty Pig (SP doesn’t advertise yet, but I’d love to carry them when they do).
